This announcement of a gradual reopening is like a breath of fresh air since there’s no denying the beneficial effect nature has on our well-being! As of that date, visitors will be allowed to access open parks to practise a number of individual sports (including hiking, kayaking, golf, tennis and many more). If you do decide to visit those parks, however, please remember that the government recommendation to avoid travel between regions is still in effect at this time. What you need to know beforehand 1) Online ticket purchases are mandatory. You must buy your daily access pass online before your visit a national park. Click here. 2) Service buildings are not currently accessible. That includes the washrooms! This measure aims to avoid gatherings of people indoors. 3) Not all parks and activities are available right away. Since this is a gradual reopening, only some hiking and cycling trails are open at the moment, as well as some lakes for autonomous fishing.
