If you dream of nature and heaps of fresh
air, choose Mirabel as your destination. The Parc régional Bois de Belle-Rivière is one of the most beautiful forest estates in Quebec
and offers a wide selection of activities in an enchanting setting.
Take a stroll on the trails, have a picnic, go fishing or check out
the special gourmet event. And you can even take your four-legged
friend with you to frolic in the dog park or tag along on the trails
where dogs are permitted.
At the Parc régional Bois de
Belle-Rivière, you can go rainbow trout fishing in the ponds. Opt
for the package deal that includes access to the site and a maximum
of three fish, as well as a transportation bag, ice and corn to use
as bait. If you don’t have your own gear, not to worry! You can rent
everything you need on site for you and your whole family.
Late summer and fall are ideal times to
stock up on fresh air. The network of pedestrian trails is perfect
for a hike in a magnificent environment, with or without your pup.
The trails go across two splendid gardens and a wonderful forest
and offer a welcome break from your daily cares.
Dogs accompanying their owners are sure
to be thrilled to run around the 50,000-square-foot dog park with
a surface of grass and woodchips. Your pets will get to socialize
or rest in the shade by trees that adorn the site. We bet you Fido
is already tail-wagging just thinking about it!
The park will be hosting the 6th Mirabel
fête l’érable du Québec event on September 19 and 20. This
must-see gourmet event looks at maple syrup in all its forms
and will feature various presentations, a country-style picnic, foodtrucks and a number of booths. So much
deliciousness to look forward to!
