Located 30 minutes from Québec City, Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier invites you to gaze at the stars from one of its 114 primitive or serviced campsites. To ensure a maximum of peace and quiet, all the sites (except for the Alluvions and Bétulaie campgrounds, which can be accessed by car or RV) are accessible by foot, at a distance varying between 100 m (325 ft) and 2.5 km (1.6 mi), or by canoe. Make the most of your stay to hike, go down the river or simply savour the calm of these unique natural settings. Winter camping is authorized on the following campgrounds: Alluvions (500-m walk from the Discovery and Visitors Centre) and Grand-Duc (4.5-km walk from the Discovery and Visitors Centre).
