The Sir William Price Heritage Centre
It is in the chapel of St. James the Apostle that the past of Kénogami, a planned industrial city founded in 1912, is revealed. You are invited to learn about the stories and experiences of the workers at the town’s Pulp & paper Mill founded by Sir William Price. Come explore the yesteryear of Kénogami, a company town that branded the «Queen of paper». Exhibitions let you to discover the creation and evolution of the city-company, the history of the Price Company as well as of the forest industry through the workers who toiled there hard.
