La Route des clochers (Steeple Route) is a 150-km cultural tourist circuit that tours eight churches the summer. Travel the Bécancour regional municipality as you discover Fortierville, the cemetery where Aurore Gagnon is buried, the only baptistery of St-Sylvère, the church of Ste-Gertrude, one of the only churches made of wood in the Précieux-Sang diocese, and the superb altar and tabernacle of the Récollets de Montréal at the St-Grégoire Church. Follow Route 132 along the St. Lawrence and stop to admire the spectacular view at the St-Pierre-les-Becquets Church, the impressive church in Gentilly (a historical monument) and the Casavant organ, as well as furniture and artwork from the Nicolet Seminary chapel at the Ste-Angèle-de-Laval Church.
