Basilique-Cathédrale Saint-Michel
The majestic Saint-Michel Cathedral-Basilica appears to watch over Sherbrooke from the top of a cliff. It was inaugurated in 1957 and designed by architect Louis-Napoléon Audet, who drew inspiration from medieval castles and the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral. Its monumental Gothic architecture will catch your eye from a distance. While you’re there, stop by the Marie-Léonie Paradis Museum for a guided tour.
