Carillon Canal National Historic Site
With its spectacular 200-tonne guillotine gate, this canal is unique in North America. You'll be intrigued by the manoeuvres made by vessels using the lock, which enables them to navigate a 20-m (65.5 ft.) drop in the river. Don’t miss the exhibition displayed in the lock keeper's house.
