Musée de l'ardoise

Located in a slate-clad church dating from 1889, the Musée de l'ardoise offers a permanent exhibition dedicated to this emblematic stone, the world of quarry workers and the world of slate roofers. Every summer, temporary exhibitions and various cultural activities enrich the program. As you leave the museum, take the pedestrian circuit through the streets of Richmond, listening to the podcast that tells the story of this district, while admiring the architecture of the slate-roofed houses.
