Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha Archaeological Site Interpretation Center

The Droulers-Tsiionhiakwatha Archaeological Site Interpretation Centre is a life-size replica of an Iroquoian village that was found at this site around 1450. Located in Saint-Anicet in the Montérégie region, an hour from Montréal, the center exposes how the Iroquoians lived in the region before the arrival of Europeans. Enjoy the guided tour of four strikingly realistic long houses. Your tour of the center will be followed by a fun and informative family activity that will take you on a real trip through in time. The center also has an ecotourism product called Tentsitewaiena, which means “working together again” in Mohawk. You will get a chance to spend the night in a long house or in Mohawk territory. This one-of-a-kind recreational activity will plunge you into past and present Iroquoian culture.
