Founded in 1997, Les Écumeurs du Saint-Laurent is a small private company that receives no grants. Based in Les Escoumins (Manicouagan) and operating in the estuary, its primary goal is to provide customers with the privilege of discovering the wonderful world of marine mammals and other aquatic species in the St. Lawrence River. Its second goal is to participate actively in marine research.
