Musée des Pionniers

Halfway between Montreal and Gatineau-Ottawa, the Musée des Pionniers houses hundreds of objects perpetuating the traditions of 19th-century pioneers: furniture, kitchen utensils and accessories, clothing, jewelry, work tools, photographs, animated videos, rare novels, school textbooks, unpublished archives of associations, old newspaper clippings and writings on pioneer life. The museum also has a wide variety of priestly vestments.
