Musée maritime de Charlevoix

Located in the magnificent bay of Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive in Charlevoix, the Musée maritime de Charlevoix tells the story of wooden schooners and coastal shipping on the St. Lawrence in a 360° experience, from forest to river. Come aboard for a tour of the 1946 shipyard and its 4 boats. Exhibitions, a multimedia experience, a park with a hebertism track and a plant maze, walking trails, a gift store, picnic areas and river viewing areas await you for an exhilarating outing in the great outdoors! All aboard! From July to September, locals and visitors alike are invited to stop by the Museum and experience a series of events rooted in the memory of schooners, the river, and the sailors of the past.
