Parc le Trou de la Fée
Parc le Trou de la Fée
Located in the heart of the Lac-Saint-Jean region, Parc le Trou de la Fée offers a unique experience that combines nature and adventure. Walk along footbridges anchored to rocky outcrops and cross suspension bridges offering spectacular views of the Métabetchouane River. Follow the water intake pipeline that will lead you to the remains of the hydroelectric power plant. Visitors seeking thrills can experience an impressive glass floor perched 60 meters above the ground. The site also offers the opportunity to explore a cave unique in Canada, which is ideal for an introduction to speleology. The tour concludes at the visitor center, in an amphitheater carved into the granite of the Canadian Shield, with a 360-degree presentation that traces the history of the site and the evolution of the territory. Hiking shoes and comfortable clothing are recommended.
