Putep 't-awt Marine Mammal Observation Platform
Putep ‘t-awt, which means Beluga Trail in the Wolastoqey language, is a 2 km hiking trail with a digital and interactive route allowing you to discover Wolastoqey culture in an enchanting natural environment. At the top of the Gros-Cacouna mountain which hosts it, there is an observatory which offers a breathtaking view of the Saint-Laurent. This infrastructure, which respects the architectural charter of the Wahsipekuk community, includes two distinct spaces, one dedicated to research on belugas and the other open to the public in order to immerse visitors in an immersive activity to discover life belugas. Please note that dogs on leash are permitted on the trails.
