Réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs
Gaspésie
Wildlife reserve
The sculpted relief of the Appalachians invents, for the astonished eyes of the hiker, striking landscapes at the Réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs : In the west, the Blanche-Lamontagne mountains (940 m), Vallières-de-Saint-Réal (940 m) and Hog's Back (830 m) are distinguished by their bare peaks while in the east, Mount Brown (920 m) dominates a territory less steep. These mountains form a monumental setting for activities such as fishing, hunting and hiking. Photo credit: réserve faunique des Chic-Chocs, Sépaq
