It was in 1714 that the small Shrine was built, followed by the beginning of the construction of the Basilica in 1880. The Notre-Dame-du-Cap Shrine is a welcoming haven of peace and a spiritual beacon to its visitors, whether they are pilgrims, tourists or passers-by. Discover the spiritual and cultural activities that take place throughout the year, in an intergenerational, inclusive and respectful universe. In addition to the many religious celebrations and activities such as the Festival de l’Assomption, le Symposium de Trois-Rivières, Noël en lumière and the Christmas Market, many services are offered.
