Véloroute des Bleuets
Véloroute des Bleuets
Véloroute des Bleuets is a cycle route that loops 256 kilometres around lake Saint-Jean - a true inland sea - that runs through 15 municipalities, including the native ilnu community of Mashteuiatsh. Located in the blueberry region of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, the cycle route is accessible to all types of cyclists; families, bicycle touring and performance cyclists. The route stands out for the warm welcome of its locals, craftspeople and ambassadors that cycle on Véloroute des Bleuets all summer long. Lots of services are available to cyclists, such as marine shuttles offering stunning views on Grande Décharge and Péribonka shores. Free ‘’Vélovoûtes’’ charging stations are also available for electrically assisted bikes. Download the mobile app Ondago for free interactive maps to plan your trip.
