Visites historiques du Vieux-Sorel

The Pierre-de-Saurel Historical Society was founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiasts who wanted to promote local history. Learn more about Fort Richelieu, the seigneury of Saurel, the village of William-Henry and the buildings that have marked the history of the 20th century such as the Saurel Hotel, the post office and customs office or the public market. With a 90-minute tour, this visit, which is made possible thanks to the participation of Canada Summer Jobs, aims to inform visitors about the incredible heritage of the region.
