Zec Owen

The Owen ZEC is a controlled harvesting zone located in the Lower St. Lawrence region, more specifically in the Témiscouata RCM, covering an area of 615 km. Its four exceptional forest ecosystems give it a unique character, including black ash and American elm forests, yellow birch and maple forests, yellow birch and fir forests, white pine and sugar maple forests, and two bald eagle nests.
