Crater and Tides Sector

The village of Les Éboulements, focal point of the Charlevoix crater, presents an impressive relief shaped by a powerful meteorite impact, more than 400 million years ago. Saint-Joseph-de-la-River, nearby, stretches along the river and shines thanks to its rich maritime legacy, artisanal papermill, and its ferry to the charming Isle-aux-Coudres. To the east, wedged between two cliffs and the outskirts of the Saint-Lawrence, Saint-Irénée attracts several vacationers to its fine sandy beach. An idyllic place to be swept by the waves’ sweet melody.
