Christmas in Old Aylmer

From November 27 to December 6, 2026, come kickoff the festive season as Christmas in Old-Aylmer (Gatineau) takes place. The heritage sector of rue Principale comes alive with thousands of lights. The European-style outdoor Christmas market welcomes visitors looking for original gifts, local products, crafts or to enjoy tasty treats (more than fifty vendors). Saturday, young and old alike will be marvelled as more than 30 illuminated floats gather for the Santa Claus parade along Principale Street (from Front to Wilfrid-Lavigne). Put on your warmest coat and mittens and be prepared to be dazzled.
