Exposition agricole de Chicoutimi

Exposition agricole de Chicoutimi
Every year, Expo Agricole de Chicoutimi in the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region attracts some 45,000 visitors over a five-day period. Access to the site is free, with only the rides subject to a fee. Its vision is above all educational, and is intended to be a meeting point between city dwellers and the region's farmers. Main attractions include visits and contact with cows, milking observation, the small farm, rides, the derby, dog demonstrations, animal judging, agri-food and other exhibitors' booths and machinery. The show is still a tradition, with a diversity not found in other events in the region.
