Festi-Volant de Grandes-Piles

Launched in 2001, the Festi-Volant de Grandes-Piles, in the Mauricie region, is considered Canada’s largest winter kite festival. Guest kite flyers come from all corners of Quebec, Canada, and the United States.

Set against the enchanting backdrop of the Saint-Maurice River, the festival offers a spectacular view of a sky filled with giant kites, not to mention dynamic acrobatic kite demonstrations.

A wide variety of activities round out the program, including a giant slide, an igloo maze, snow scooters, music, costumed entertainment, fireworks, and a playground. A winter outing the whole family will love!
