Twist Fibre Festival

The Twist Fiber Festival is Canada’s largest textile fiber festival, bringing together the industry’s leading players. It is an annual event that offers the general public, enthusiasts, fiber producers, fiber animal breeders, processors, artists, artisans, professionals, and anyone with a curiosity about the craft a true immersion into the world of textile fibers. For its 14th edition, TWIST is hosting the organization Métiers et Traditions, which works to preserve and pass on the artisanal skills that shape our cultural heritage. They will offer continuous, hands-on demonstrations throughout the weekend. Festivalgoers can also enjoy lunchtime music performances presented by Ripon Trad and the Coop de la place du marché. TWIST features three days of events, around 40 workshops, free activities for children, a textile installation, textile demonstrations, a local gourmet fair, and more than 140 exhibitors.
