Festival de pêche aux petits poissons des chenaux
Festival de pêche aux petits poissons des chenaux
A typical Quebec tradition, tomcod fishing or "pêche aux petits poissons des chenaux" is unique in the world. As soon as weather permits, a veritable village sets up camp on the ice-covered Sainte-Anne River. Join the 90,000 visitors that come every winter to fish from the comfortable, heated, furnished and lighted shelters. No need to be an expert in the field for a great catch; even children will catch something! A wide array of outdoor activities for the whole family awaits: music shows, tramway rides, inflatable structures, skating rinks and more. The Festival looks forward to seeing you on the ice this winter for its 80th anniversary and, above all else, wishes you a great catch!
