Le Palais des Glaces
The third collaboration between playwright David Paquet and director Philippe Cyr, “Le Palais des Glaces” (The Palace of Ice) is a whimsical, sharp-edged comedy that explores our capacity for wonder in a world where everything costs too much. The story follows Virginie, who digs herself out from among the dead with a single desire: to eat a vanilla ice cream cone… now outrageously overpriced. Through her encounters with characters who are at once eccentric and deeply human, the play looks at inflation, inequality and our sparks of rebellion with humour and honesty. Coming this summer to Théâtre À tour de rôle in Carleton-sur-Mer, Gaspésie! The show is available in French only.
