Festival Québec en toutes lettres

This year, the program is built around an excerpt of poetry by Denise Desautels: “l’autre qui bat en nous” (Disparaître, Montréal, Éditions du Noroît, 2021). It celebrates key figures, literary lineages, transmission, and the voices that precede us, inspire us, and transform us. Performances, encounters, youth activities, and public art—the festival offers everything to experience literature in a whole new way! Held every fall, Québec en toutes lettres showcases the literary arts by offering a wide audience unifying and surprising experiences. For eleven days, the festival takes literature beyond the book, fostering close connections between festivalgoers and artists from various disciplines. Created in 2010, the festival has become a must-attend event in the literary community, a catalyst for creation, a presenter of original works in public spaces, and a flagship event of Québec, a UNESCO City of Literature.
