Festival Québec en toutes lettres

The 17th edition of Québec en toutes lettres is inspired by commitment, advocacy, and hope. Drawing on the words of author and poet Marie-Célie Agnant, “this cry that never falls asleep” (Seul demeure le cri, Éditions du Noroît, 2025), the festival’s various offerings will highlight the causes that drive us, the struggles we carry forward, the hope that gives us the strength to continue, and the powerful impact of literature and literary arts on our lives. Held each fall over eleven days, Québec en toutes lettres presents a wide audience with engaging and surprising literary arts events. Performances, discussions, youth activities, and public art, it is with renewed pleasure that you will experience literature in a different way. Founded in 2010, the festival has become a must-attend event in the literary scene and a landmark cultural happening in Québec City, a UNESCO City of Literature.
