The Shawi Beach

The event par excellence for sports enthusiasts takes place on the Plage Idéale at Lac à la Tortue over an entire weekend in July. You can sign up for beach volleyball, running or canoe/rabaska competitions. For the running events, there are even short courses for kids, others for beginners, and even a half-marathon if you're more experienced or feel like a big challenge. Are you a spectator? Bring your family and friends and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Fun is guaranteed with inflatables, water games and mascots, plus sales booths, street food and alcohol trucks. The icing on the cake is the Saturday evening show, followed by fireworks that amaze young and old alike.
