A magical time for the whole family during Railway Christmas
From November 29 to December 30, 2025, Exporail presents Railway Christmas, a can't-miss event for the whole family that brings you the magic of the season with decorated trains, special activities and even an appearance from Santa Claus.
Upon entering the Grand Gallery, visitors will immediately be immersed in the holiday atmosphere thanks to the decorated vehicles, illuminated locomotives and an elves' sleigh, not to mention the 12-foot-tall tree and model train underneath! Christmas stockings will be hidden inside the vehicles, so be sure to keep your eyes open to spot them! After checking out the life-size trains through and through, it'll be time to head to the model train room to see amazing displays with extraordinary details.
Fun activities and drop-ins from Santa Claus for the kids
Kids can go to the craft workshop where they will create their own Christmas tree ornament. They’ll also get to express their creativity and tempt their sweet tooth with a Christmas cookie decorating activity. Participants will receive a locomotive-shaped cookie and everything they need to make it look festive.
Children will be able to send their letter to Santa Claus in the mail-express car from November 29 until December 30 and then meet him in person on December 20, 21, 22 and 23 in the Grand Gallery, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Railway Christmas is also a chance to board the Christmas Train! Kids will also get to meet Santa Claus on the train on December 6, 13 and 14.
For grown-ups: it's time for tea!
Take a trip back to the past and combine Christmas cheer with history and comforting treats!
