From July 6 to August 9, 2025, get ready for an eclectic musical rendezvous at the 27th edition of Festival Stradivaria.
The Stradivaria Festival
After taking off in the Laurentians, Festival Stradivaria (website in French only) will then spread to several cities across Quebec. Featuring music from a wide diversity of artists and genres, the program promises to be bold and accessible, with fifteen spectacular concerts – many of them free of charge – in amazing venues: outdoor stages, heritage churches, superb theatres and more!
Directed by internationally renowned conductor and violinist Alexandre Da Costa, Festival Stradivaria offers a highly diversified program. For the renowned Quebec maestro, music must reach out to all types of music lovers. Although the program is inspired by the classical world, Da Costa seeks to remove barriers and break rules: from symphonic to jazz, baroque to opera and popular music, each style becomes a pretext to bring music fans together and help them discover a wide range of talent!
The festival extends the musical festivities across Quebec! In Terrebonne and Verchères, the enchanting music typical of a Viennese ball will resound under the direction of Alexandre Da Costa and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Québec, accompanied by renowned singer Natalie Choquette.
In Montréal, Krystel Mongeau and John Roney will join Da Costa on a journey of jazz and pop with hints of classical as part of Alexandre & Friends, while Passion Mexico will offer a memorable musical incursion into the spellbinding melodies of the Mariachi style. Finally, in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, Alex Nevsky and his luminous songs will plunge you into a symphonic universe of rich emotion.
