See what it’s like to be a zookeeper

Did you know that every day a passionate team at the Ecomuseum Zoo provides the animals with the best possible care to ensure their comfort and well-being? By taking part in the activities offered this summer, you'll have the chance to go behind the scenes and learn about the caretakers' daily work. Interactive games, educational presentations, themed huts and family activities reveal all the actions the team takes to support the different animal residents.

Don't miss the “Rookie Zookeeper” game, where you'll have to give the right answers on how to take care of a Wood Turtle, a River Otter, an Arctic Fox or a Common Raven. It's a unique way of discovering the profession, while teaching kids and parents alike about the need to respect animals.

Follow the guides to discover iconic species

Every day at 10:30 a.m., a 45-minute guided tour takes visitors on a journey of discovery into the secrets of the zoo's iconic species. This tour gives your access to the carefully landscaped living areas of the Golden Eagle, Bobcat, Coyote and Arctic fox, as well as the aviary and the hiding places of the Red Fox. You'll have the chance to observe these fascinating animals up close in their natural environment. Each stop is an opportunity to learn more about their behavior, natural habitats, and whether or not they are endangered.

Want to visit more often? Get a summer pass!

If you want to see the animals all summer long, look into the summer pass, which allows you to save on the price of admission tickets. An ideal solution for those who want to explore the trails at different times of the season, or see how the animals behave at different times of day. Buying a summer pass is also a great way to help support the zoo's efforts to protect threatened and vulnerable species!
