Bota Bota, spa-sur-l'eau
This winter, treat yourself to a well-deserved break and discover Bota Bota, spa-sur-l'eau, a one-of-a-kind floating spa built directly on a boat, promising unparalleled moments of relaxation and unique panoramas of Montréal's Old Port. The facilities and range of massages and treatments by a professional team deliver a complete experience.
Find balance at wellness workshops
To help you achieve your fitness and wellness goals, Bota Bota has designed a series of stimulating workshops that will propel you to the top of your game, while allowing you to benefit from the beneficial effects of the thermal cycle. The Strength & Flexibility and Aerial Yin (which teaches you the art of the aerial hammock to release tension) workshops will contribute to both your mental and physical well-being. And because Bota Bota is for everyone, the team also offers workshops to introduce your teenagers ages 12 to 17 to the effects of the water circuit. The cost of these workshops includes access to the baths.
Follow the water circuit
The water circuit is at the heart of Bota Bota. It has three distinct stages, each with its own function, but all with undeniable benefits.
The experience begins with heat, in a sauna or hot bath for 10 to 15 minutes, allowing your muscles to loosen up and your body to relax. The next step is a brief dip in a cold bath for 15 to 60 seconds, which accelerates the heart rate and tightens pores. It all ends with a resting phase, on a chaise longue or hammock, to allow you to fully appreciate this unparalleled soothing state and daydream while admiring the view of the cityscape.
When you’re enjoying your spa experience, you may get the overwhelming urge to chat about it with your spa buddy – which could be a problem when you also want to respect the request to keep things quiet on the boat. Reconnection Thursdays have been designed to offer you the opportunity to talk in a low voice and use your cell phone throughout your visit (with certain conditions, of course, to respect the well-being of all passengers). It's a great way to disconnect while also sharing a unique moment.
Experience Bota Bota with a combo
If the long winter days make you want to slow down, why not go for a spa combo with a massage or facial? Treat yourself to the famous cupping massage: an experience that's out-of-the-ordinary and particularly enjoyable during the cold season. It boasts an unrivalled ability to soothe away stress and muscular tension. Another option is to surrender yourself to the hands of the on-site professionals for a Northern Star treatment that'll give your skin a youthful glow! A precious moment that lets you focus on yourself!
