Tourisme Lanaudière
A vast network of trails
Outdoor enthusiasts will be right at home in Lanaudière, as the region offers dozens of trails that stretch across the mountains and forests. The brand new, must-discover Parc régional de Kilkenny, boasts hiking trails adapted to all levels. These paths offer unobstructed views of snowy landscapes and let you observe local flora and fauna.
The park is also a destination for fans of snowshoeing, classic-style cross-country skiing, and back country skiing. Whether you’re a novice or a veteran, these well-maintained trails guarantee a safe and memorable outdoor experience.
Accommodation options for every style
Lanaudière offers a wide range of accommodation options to extend your stay in the region, whether that’s in the heart of nature or near a city. At Saint-Michel-des-Saints, the Auberge du Lac Taureau is known for its classic log construction style, its varied accommodation offerings (including rooms, condos, chalets and Coolbox units) and its charming natural setting where you can enjoy a variety of activities. Over in Saint-Donat, the Grand R offers chalets and condos built in the forest, perfect for a getaway close to the ski slopes and far from the daily hustle and bustle.
If you’re looking for an experience off the beaten path, choose one-of-a-kind accommodations in a yurt, a transparent bubble or even a cabin perched in the trees!
