This summer, Espace pour la vie invites you on a captivating journey into the heart of biodiversity. From the Botanical Garden to the Biosphère, the Planetarium, the Biodôme and the Insectarium, each of these five Montréal museums offers an immersive experience where nature, science and art meet to awaken your senses and your curiosity.

Music and poetry at the Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden, a veritable green setting in the heart of the city, once again offers an intimate and unusual setting for artists to perform. From July 6 to August 24, 2025, The Arts put on a show at the Garden series will offer outdoor concerts, where melodies mingle with floral fragrances. Sitting comfortably on the grass, you’ll discover a musical program of various styles in this exceptional lush setting.

Also featured is Brazen Blooms, which promises to be the highlight of the season. Until August 17, 2025, discover the secrets of flower seduction through captivating presentations and surprising facts. You’ll also be invited to take part in the creation of Naked Flowers, a collaborative work celebrating the sensuality and poetry of flowers.

Environmental issues at the Biosphère and Biodôme

At the Biosphère, the exhibition Transform! Designing the Future of Energy, presented until September 4, 2025, confronts visitors with the challenges of the energy transition, and reveals how design can offer innovative solutions to meet them.

At the Biodôme, the permanent exhibition A Close-knit Nature explores the fragile balance between species and their environment. Through tactile and sensory experiences, you’ll discover the importance of keystone species in the structure and functioning of an ecosystem.

The mysteries of pollinators and the cosmos at the Insectarium and Planétarium

From July 25 to 27, 2025, the Insectarium hosts Les Butineries - Pollinator Insects Festival, a festive and educational event honouring the unsung heroes of biodiversity. This colourful and entertaining program helps to raise visitors’ awareness of the need to protect these tiny insects, while revealing their essential role in our ecosystem.

At the Planétarium, the exhibition Hubert Reeves between the lines presents highlights from the life of this famous astrophysicist with a passion for our universe. This free exhibition pays tribute to the man who made the mysteries of the cosmos accessible to all, with poetry and humility.
