Music and the open fields for a complete experience
On Saturday, July 5, let the fresh air and soul-stirring music sweep you away. With Dany Nicolas kicking off the evening, followed by Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project taking the stage, the countryside comes alive with its most festive tunes. Celebrated across the province, the band turns the stage into a gathering place, blending free-flowing guitars with call-and-response choruses.
With a single ticket, you’ll have access to all the activities starting at 9 a.m. Stroll through the open fields, meet the animals, taste local flavours, and end the day with your feet in the grass, rocking out under the stars. Get your tickets before they’re gone!
Knowledge that grows in the field
The 2025 program will bring the experience to new heights. This year, the Expo’s educational component will take centre stage, without missing a beat of the fun. You can explore École-O-Champ’s interactive stations form an educational maze where getting lost leads to deeper learning. Next, follow the journey from grain to flour and dive into the fascinating world of wheat production with Minoterie 1880. And finally, join Yannick Bergeron on Sunday as he brings the magic of chemistry to the stage with a scientific demonstration that challenges conventional thinking. Get ready to open your eyes and expand your mind!
The joy of eating authentic, local food
More and more people want to eat better, prioritizing local, farm-to-table food. This shift is driven by choices, but also very real concerns, such as financial challenges, health issues, and environmental impacts. At Exposition agricole de Calixa-Lavallée, you’ll meet 40 exhibitors and restaurateurs who share your vision, all serving up the best the region has to offer. The partners are chosen with care, emphasizing local, high-quality products and eco-friendly practices. You can do your part by bringing reusable containers, utensils, and water bottles. Every action, no matter how small, makes a difference!
