Visit the Michel de Gentilly flour mill

Surrounded by nature, Moulin Michel de Gentilly, a magnificent heritage flour mill still in operation, throws open its doors for a summer season as delicious as it is informative. On-site, bite into fresh-baked bread and pastries from the bakery, enjoy a coffee or beer with friends on the patio or get all the fixings for a picnic at the Friday evening farmers’ market.

As for events, the Au son du Moulin/Blues & Gin festival will be back from July 18 to 20, 2025, with outdoor shows in a pastoral setting. Before you leave, be sure to stock up on delicious local products, including the mill’s famous stone-ground organic buckwheat flour.

Discover the must-sees in Victoriaville and the surrounding area

The Victoriaville area invites you to savour happiness this summer. Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Parc Marie-Victorin botanical gardens by visiting its brand-new museum for a glimpse of one of the largest collections of cast iron objects in North America. Be sure to take the time to see the impressive plant sculptures. Finally, stop at Fromagerie du Presbytère to sample one of the country’s most delicious cheeses.

With about 30 micro adventures to choose from, you can taste spirits with the owner of a distillery, pair wine with wood oven-baked pizza on a vineyard terrace or sleep under the stars in a botanical garden. There is something for everyone!
