Sainte-Anne-de-Sorel’s Bières vins & terroir festival: a local gourmet event by the water

With more than 40 exhibitors presenting beers, wines and spirits, along with agri-producer booths and food trucks, you’ll have your fill of delicious things and leave happy and satisfied! Mark the dates on your calendar now so you don’t miss this event!

A foodie happy hour

Sampling delicious beers and wines is great, but nibbling on delicious bites at the same time is even better! That’s what you can expect at the 5 à 7 gastronomique on June 28. Sample mouthwatering morsels whipped up by Sandra Plourde, winner of season one of MasterChef Québec in 2024, and Jean-Christophe Nadeau, who placed in the top five. 

The happy hour ticket gives you access to all three days of the festival, plus an official beer glass and a festival wristband, which you will need for any tastings. A good time awaits you on the river’s edge, across from the Île du Moine lighthouse, in a festive musical atmosphere.

There’s even paddleboarding!

The Les îles à la planche paddleboard race on June 28, 2025, sponsored by the Bières vins & terroir festival, is a great way to discover the Sorel islands by paddleboard. All are welcome to participate, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned paddleboarder, and whether you’re in it just for fun or to fully embrace your competitive side. Choose the 2.5 km, 5 km or 10 km route. Note that participants will have access to snacks and a rest area, and a medical team will be on hand if needed. 

Are you concerned the kids might get bored while you do the race? Not to worry! There will be inflatable games, games of skill and interactive video games set up to keep them busy.

Evening concerts for every taste

The Bières vins & terroir festival has an exciting musical lineup, with something for everyone. On Friday and Saturday evening, and on Sunday afternoon, performing artists and talented musicians will take to the stage to create a wonderful atmosphere. Listen to Dumas, Vince Lemire and others while you enjoy your food and drink. Bask in the summer vibe!
