From August 8 to 17, 2025, ItalfestMTL invites you to celebrate the richness of Italian culture through a variety of shows and a host of activities in Montreal, most of which are free. Here are three must-see events for this 32nd edition to add to your calendar.

The Moda Sotto le Stelle fashion show
If you're passionate about fashion, don't miss this elegant fashion show under a starry sky! Moda Sotto le Stelle showcases the talents of designers from Italy and with Italian heritage in a chic and intriguing evening fashion show. A number of new features will also make this year's edition even more memorable, including a collaboration with the ESG UQAM École supérieure de mode and Italy's Istituto Modartech.
When: Saturday August 9 at 9:30 p.m.

The show by the band Stuck on Planet Earth
Known for their energetic live shows and bold songwriting, alt-rock trio Stuck on Planet Earth don't aim to blend in – they want to shake things up! This band from Vaughan, Ontario, includes Adam Bianchi (vocals, guitar), Al Capo (vocals, bass) and Andrew Testa (drums) and melds moody, rock and R&B styles to create a unique musical experience. Don’t miss the chance to discover this band, with its raw energy, anthemic hooks and assertive lyrics.

The À la découverte des merveilles du monde concert
Presented by the Orchestre d'Harmonie Leonardo Da Vinci (OHLDV) under the musical direction of Pierre Thibault, À la découverte des merveilles du monde is a concert that invites you on a unique musical voyage around the globe. From the epic breath of wide open spaces to the bewitching rhythms of distant cultures, this concert promises a world tour through melodies that tell the story of our planet's most beautiful treasures.
When: Sunday August 17 at 7 p.m.
Where: Parc Wilfrid-Bastien, Saint-Léonard
A festival with strong values
ItalfestMTL is also an environmentally friendly festival, offered almost entirely free of charge. Festival-goers are invited to use public transport or to carpool to get to the various sites. At outdoor events, waste and recycling garbage cans are provided to encourage responsible waste management. What's more, all of the festival’s events are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
