To mark the transition to 2025, the Old Port of Montreal is teaming up with the popular outdoor winter music festival, Igloofest, to transform the Jacques-Cartier Quay into an electrifying dance floor under the starry sky. Starting at 8 p.m., the beats of 8 artists will keep the Videotron stage buzzing until 2 a.m.! At midnight, it's time for the countdown: spectacular fireworks and a unique multimedia performance to ring in the New Year. And the best part? This memorable evening is completely free! Get your winter gear ready and head to the Old Port for a frosty celebration that promises to heat up the atmosphere!
Keep things fiery for New Year’s at Centropolis Laval!
For the second year in a row, Centropolis' Place Centrale will be presenting Instants illuminés this winter, with a digital campfire as the showpiece! This luminous installation will also set the tone for the evening of December 31, when Centropolis will come alive, starting at 10 p.m., with a fun and festive New Year's Eve event, culminating in a spectacular countdown. For this occasion, you might want to reserve a table as soon as possible at one of the many restaurants – that’ll give you a front-row seat to the celebrations and you’ll make your evening even better with a succulent meal.
