The L’Islet area has a network of snowmobile trails known for their quality and variety, ideal for both single- and multi-day rides.
The 369-kilometre Aventurier route takes the Trans-Québec 5 and 55 trails in the eastern part of the region, crossing the Appalachian Mountains, which often have exceptional snow cover. Along the way, the Monk leg of the trip is a must for anyone heading for the Massif du Sud. This well-groomed trail system invites you to discover surprising terrain and incredible views of the region’s natural splendours.
Stop and stretch your legs
Club Sportif Appalaches is a great place to stop to stretch your legs. Nestled in the Appalachian foothills, it has 58 kilometres of impeccably groomed cross-country ski trails, with five heated huts to warm up in.
If you enjoy a good physical challenge, you will love the cross-country ski trek to Trois-Saumons Lake, a strenuous ascent that is well worth the effort for the incredible view of the St. Lawrence River. Active stops let you enjoy a variety of activities and explore the region at a different pace while making the most of the great outdoors in a stunning natural setting. The Club’s trails are also located near the Auberge des Glacis inn.

After a fun day on the cross-country ski trails, what could be better than a restful night’s sleep in cozy and comfortable accommodations? Auberge des Glacis warmly welcomes you to a gorgeous estate that invites relaxation. Its friendly atmosphere and enchanting setting make it the perfect place to rest and recover.
If you prefer your own home-away-from-home, Éco-chalets Monk in Tourville is an excellent option. Comfortable and well-appointed, the cottages sleep up to four people in a calm, private setting, perfect for recharging before heading back on the trail.
