Try your hand at the Tinkering Challenges
Until August 24, 2025, you and your whole family can get in touch with your creative side thanks to the Tinkering Challenges, a fun activity that brings together joy and learning. Your goal is to create, test and perfect prototypes to solve a series of challenges. Will you succeed and construct a tower that can resist a quake? Will you be able to stop a vehicle at a precise point or hover a ball at the right altitude? There’s no how-to manual or one-size-fits-all solution here—only your ideas, your creative spirit and your perseverance will pave your way to success!
Choose from three different packages
During the summer season, three packages are offered to enhance your experience at the Museum. First, dive into an industrial world with a guided tour of the BRP plant (offered from August 4 to 28, 2025), which will take you behind the scenes of Ski-Doo® snowmobile manufacturing. A guided visit of the Museum reserve will also introduce you to more than 70 unique vehicles, including unreleased prototypes, tracing the evolution of Joseph-Armand Bombardier’s inventions. Finally, with the Fab Lab combo (offered until August 1, 2025), the whole family can participate in a digital manufacturing workshop. Learn to use a laser cutter to create a personalized wooden bookmark or medallion that you can take home with you!
Explore the My region, my mobility temporary exhibit
The all-new temporary exhibit, My region, my mobility, invites you to think about current challenges to sustainable mobility outside the city. Nab an interactive vehicle specially designed for the occasion and explore a circuit that will have you discovering innovative sustainable mobility solutions. Four scenarios bring our transportation habits into question and highlight different elements of mobility, from the first kilometre to the last. Touching on autonomy, organizational challenges, individual limits and the joy of trying something different, this exhibit will make you think differently about your daily trips, in a setting that is at once amusing, immersive and educational.
