La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume, an unforgettable outing for the whole family

Every summer for nearly 40 years, La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume has taken audiences on a captivating journey through time, uncovering the fascinating history of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, from the arrival of the first settlers to the dawn of the Industrial Revolution, including key events that shaped the region’s identity. Performed by 140 volunteer actors, this living fresco transforms shared history into a majestic, moving performance. Narrated by the mesmerizing voice of the Spirit of the Fjord, the story plays out on a grand stage, brought to life with breathtaking visuals and immersive sound effects.

Back for its 38th edition and more dazzling than ever, La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume continues to raise the bar with a jaw-dropping multimedia experience, a brand-new stage design, and incredible special effects that awaken all the senses. From a seven-horse cavalry and vintage cars to fire, explosions, and thundering cannon blasts, the show plunges spectators into the heart of the action for an immersive, thrilling experience. 

One of the most powerful new additions is a deeply emotional scene that pays homage to the bravery of citizens, police officers and soldiers during the tragic Saint-Jean-Vianney landslide. For the past two years, this scene has struck a chord with the people affected by the event and the community as a whole.

Set to run in July and August 2025, the show promises to captivate audiences of all ages, celebrating regional history with heart and style.

Majestique, a wildly eccentric circus cabaret show

Offering a radically different experience, Majestique defies expectations with a bold, zany, and spectacular circus cabaret show. Running from August 6 to 16, 2025, at Théâtre Palace, this second edition promises an even wilder, glitzier experience, with each act as sleek and delightfully absurd as the last.

This interactive and immersive cabaret show combines burlesque performances, extravagant acrobatics, quirky humour, and artistic flair, all set against an electrifying backdrop worthy of Europe’s most legendary venues. Get ready for a nonstop roller coaster of fun, laughter, and over-the-top glamour—with champagne flute in hand!
