Visit the Charlevoix Emu Centre
At the foot of the mountains, in the village of Saint-Urbain, the Charlevoix Emu Centre specializes in raising, transforming, and showcasing the emu, an exotic bird originating from Australia. In addition to its emu farm, where visitors can see emus up close in their outdoor habitat, the centre houses the Économusée, a museum that teaches visitors about the unique set of skills used to transform the oil of emu fat.
