Go on a deer-watching safari
Starting in September, deer enter their mating season. That makes fall an ideal time for an educational guided tour. Spend half a day on an adventure aboard the safari bus, accompanied by your guide. You’ll have a front-row seat to observe the interactions between deer as they court one another, and you’ll also learn fascinating facts about Quebec’s wildlife.
And in case you were wondering, you won’t be sitting still the whole time—there are stops planned so you can get out of the vehicle and get up close to the animals for a truly immersive experience.
Take part in a fun family weekend
On October 3 and 4, 2026, Parc Oméga is hosting a big party called the Fête au Village! See the park decked out in forests of fall colours, treat yourself to a day of family-friendly activities and enjoy the delights of fall in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Adults and children alike are sure to have a blast while getting some fresh air.
Look forward to face painting, entertainment and outdoor games to let loose and have a good laugh. Be sure to take the time to browse the booths, which will be set up in a décor reminiscent of a traditional village festival. Local artisans and producers will also be there with seasonal delicacies!
Explore the illuminated nighttime trail
As the days grow shorter, why not welcome the change of season with a unique outdoor experience?
On Fridays, Saturdays and holidays, at 8:30 p.m., venture along the Oniro nighttime walking trail. The park takes on a whole new look with this activity, which combines light installations and an immersive soundscape. As night falls and the scenes along the trail light up, immerse yourself in the poetic tale of a young wolf, sure to be moving for the whole family. Lasting one hour, Oniro is a wonderful way to end your day at Parc Oméga in the magical atmosphere of fall.
