Celebrate winter in summer at the Blizz carnival.

Enjoy a breath of fresh (and chilly!) air

Who doesn’t dream of a few snowflakes on a hot summer day? Well, you’ll definitely feel the chill of winter at Blizz! Onsite, you’ll find a massive dome with gigantic snowflakes inside and colourful fabrics replicating the glorious northern lights. Visitors can climb aboard Bonhomme’s famous float and take a picture with the statue of the King of the Carnival himself. You’ll also discover a brand-new room hidden inside the float! And why not kick back in the human-powered rest area, featuring an iceberg with a built-in mister ready to be hand-cranked?

Slide year-round

Sliding is a mainstay of the winter holidays in Quebec. At the Blizz carnival, kids and adults alike can have a blast going down a 150-foot inner-tube slide and enjoy an incredible view of Québec City. This summer, get ready to experience the world turned upside down! Visit the Blizz website for more information about the event!

(Re)discover Quebec winter

If you attended the Quebec Winter Carnival in 2023, then you probably remember the experiential shipping containers. They’ve been revamped for visitors to cool off in and discover the magic of the Winter Carnival during summer.

Each of the three containers offers a distinct, immersive experience. The first is a vortex that draws you into glacial cold, powdery snow and chilling winds, replicating a typical Quebec winter. The second is a winter music box that will test your hearing with typical winter sounds, such as snow crunching under footsteps and skates on ice. Finally, the third container recreates the Quebec Winter Carnival, delighting the most nostalgic of visitors.
