The Carrefour international de théâtre: a great cultural celebration to discover!

Every spring, the Carrefour international de théâtre offers spectators the best in local and international theatrical creation. This exciting festival offers 50 performances of a dozen indoor shows, featuring more than 500 artists and artisans, and a free outdoor show Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant…? (Where do you go when you sleepwalk...?) that attracts 100,000 people every year. From May 23 to June 8, 2024, Québec City is the place to be as it celebrates theatre in a big way!

A one-of-a-kind walk-through show

An original creation by local artists from various disciplines, Où tu vas quand tu dors en marchant…? (translated as: Where do you go when you sleepwalk...?) is a unique experience that will captivate you, make you dream and laugh. Wander through four exciting universes that combine theatre, circus, music, architecture and visual arts. For the next two years, this experience will take place at the site around ExpoCité.
