Go on a shuttle boat excursion

Navettes maritimes du Fjord lets you explore this jewel of nature from the water, where you can admire its full splendour. Choose from different cruises to see the cliffs and visit the charming villages bordering the fjord. Guides will share historical accounts, geographical facts and local anecdotes along the way. The cruises with stopovers invite you to explore unique places, such as L’Anse-Saint-Jean, named one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec. Take the time to browse the craft shops, sip a coffee on a restaurant terrace or enjoy a well-deserved ice cream cone.

Immerse yourself at the national park

Sculpted by glaciers over thousands of years, Parc national du Fjord-du-Saguenay invites you to discover magnificent wild landscapes. Tadoussac Bay gives a breathtaking view of the vast expanse of water and is a great place to watch hundreds of migratory birds, while the trails of Baie-Éternité let you see the fjord up close from the top of its headlands. The gorgeous views, spectacular cliffs and untouched wilderness of the park make it a must for outdoor enthusiasts.

Visit Parc du Bassin and Petite Maison Blanche

A symbol of incredible resilience, Petite Maison Blanche (website in French only) in Parc du Bassin, in the heart of the Saguenay region, has been turned into a museum. Miraculously spared by the 1996 Déluge du Saguenay, a devastating series of flash floods, this legendary little white house tells the tale of this catastrophic event. The three storeys of exhibits offer an immersive experience of the disaster through multimedia, children’s games and robotic characters. The park around the house is a great spot to relax or have a picnic. Nearby, the La Commère general store takes you back in time with its collection of items from yesteryear and artisanal products.
