Vagues de Rires: a new comedy festival you won’t want to miss
The Vagues de Rires Festival is making a splash on the cultural scene with its promising first edition from June 18 to 20, 2026 in Baie-Comeau.
Designed to make professional comedy shows more accessible, this event offers a wide-ranging program that brings together some 15 up-and-coming artists alongside well-established comedians. Graced by the likes of Étienne Dano, Martin Vachon, Ève Côté, Dom Babin and Le Gong Show, this new festival aims to bring the community together for a lot of laughs and a showcase of Côte-Nord’s creativity.
Festival Eau Grand Air
Festival Eau Grand Air: a mix of Quebec musical talent and local flair
From July 2 to 4, 2026, the Festival Eau Grand Air will light up the stunning Parc des Pionniers in Baie-Comeau and charm you with an eclectic program and a focus on outdoor-themed activities.
Roxane Bruneau will open the festival, followed by Kaïn with their farewell tour. K.Maro and Les Trois Accords will keep things rolling, while Jay Scott and the Québec Redneck Bluegrass Project will get the crowd moving, as will Alcoholica, an homage to Metallica. Emerging artists like Popsonic and Maten fill out the amazing lineup at this event that’s sure to draw a crowd!
St-Marc Pardu dans L’Bois
St-Marc Pardu dans L’Bois: where rock and the great outdoors are one and the same
Celebrate rock’s rebel spirit in a larger-than-life setting. From July 9 to 12, 2026, don’t miss St-Marc Pardu dans L’Bois in Saint-Marc-de-Latour. Rooted in the Côte-Nord identity, blending redneck culture and camping in a lively atmosphere, this event offers an energetic program uniting alternative rock, punk and the Quebecois music scene’s love of a party. For its 5th edition, groups Groovy Aardvark and L’Expédition — paying homage to Les Cowboys Fringants — are among the headliners.
From concerts to outdoor activities and camping, this experience promises a truly welcoming atmosphere to delight festival-goers dressed for the occasion.
Festival du Fjord
Festival du Fjord: stunning views, music and family fun
From August 13 to 16, 2026, in Sacré-Cœur, the Festival du Fjord celebrates music, community and the joy of coming together in a striking natural setting. Festival-goers young and old will enjoy the wide-ranging program bringing together shows and activities spread out among different hubs at the heart of the fjord. The festival boasts a family day with hosts, the popular Course des couleurs race and much-anticipated performances by artists including Francis Degrandpré.
