The Tanguay Soccer Zone: where the field meets Caribbean flair

This year, the festival puts soccer in the spotlight. The Tanguay Soccer Zone brings together kids and adults who grew up playing the sport, offering Complete Striker skills clinics and 3-on-3 tournaments, in a World Cup-inspired atmosphere you can enjoy without a ticket.

The official ambassador for this year’s Soccer Fiesta theme is Ali Gerba, former Canadian international soccer player and World Cup qualifier. He truly represents the festival’s mission to bring sports and culture together and inspire kids to discover new opportunities through the game. On Thursday, July 9, 2026, an afternoon celebrity match will officially kick off the festivities.

Visit the festival’s website for more information about Soccer Fiesta at Taste of the Caribbean.

Music that gets everyone dancing

In addition to the sports lineup, the festival will feature more than 65 performances over four days, all showcasing the diversity of Caribbean music.

Head to the main stage for reggae, dancehall, soca, and konpa, performed by local and international artists, including Grammy and Juno winners. Then make your way to the Latin Fuzion Zone, where reggaeton, bachata, merengue, salsa, and other Latin beats take over.

It’s the kind of lineup that turns a quick visit into a full night out!
