A hybrid format for the 38th Carrousel international du film de Rimouski

This family event, the first youth cinema festival in North America, continues its mission to promote youth cinema from Quebec, Canada and abroad. The hybrid format of this 38th edition of the Carrousel international du film de Rimouski will be held from March 22 to 28. It will feature 90 short and full-length films from 20 countries. Watch the films from the comfort of your home or, if you are in the Bas St-Laurent region, attend in-person activities that are part of the programming: a movie-inspired circuit to discover as well as movies projected onto the shop windows of participating stores. An opportunity for the whole family to discover local and international cinema.

A musical journey from the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières

From March 19 to 28, the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières invites you on board for a virtual concert featuring musicians Bleu Jeans Bleu and Damien Robitaille. Filmed in the hangars of an aircraft maintenance company, this show promises high-flying performances and an original setting – miles away from a traditional venue! To see this one-of-a-kind, can’t-miss experience, get your tickets for the virtual show, priced at $12, on sale now and until March 28, 2021.

Superhero’s DNA – a youth adventure exhibition has been designed to boost self-esteem in youth. The story starts with an experiment gone wrong and a professor who needs to create an antidote – with the help of superheroes! This wild adventure includes a circuit, hiding places, a climbing wall, games of skill and more. Kids get to complete the mission and discover that superheroes are also inspiring people who are part of their daily lives: scientists, doctors, athletes, etc. A lovely, heart-warming creation from the Musée POP sure to put a smile on everyone in the family!
